SMU Interview

I think it was ok... hahaz... though i dun think they will give me an offer... tat's cos i din even bother to open my big mouth during the interview... their interview style was 2 panel members to 8 potential students... way of accessing is different but yet good... cos we were asked to comment on an article... it's like we r put into one of the classrm scenes should we be accepted into smu... thus i find their way of interviewing effective yet time saving... n i only spoke twice... once during the intro... n only once during the discussion of the article... so y would smu want a person who din even want to speak? But i'm ok with it... cos it isn't the place i wanna go... but it was a good experience ba...

And ya... saw quite a few aj pple at smu yest... including trudi.. hahaz.. n then me went together with meng... so we were in the same interview session... after some briefing, we were led to the holding room to read the article... the room was bare and white... with a table that has 9 chairs ard it... n meng said that it looks as if we r going to be executed... hahaz.... then we were all like so quiet... there's this guy who tried to break the ice... but the rest din really response... which led him to think that he's making a fool of himself... but actually i appreciate his gesture la... then we finally got to introducing ourselves... but when my turn came... we were ushered to the interview...

So the whole thing ended at 10 plus... wanted to walk from the smu end of botanic gardens to the orchard end... so that we would end up near stb... hahaz... but we gave up that idea and took a cab to PS instead... had lunch and then returned to work at 130...

hahaz... i attended the 1st 5 mins of the stb scholarship talk today... with adeline... but tat's not cos we are potential scholars like the rest... tat's cos we r working in HR... the dept in charge... n we went in to kaypo... yalor... leng lee gave us the folder and asked us to go in and listen... but we left after watching the video... cos we too sian to listen to talk... n also... there's a pile of work waiting to be done... no time to listen n do OT after that...
